Audition Tips
1)
Attitude
Know you can do it. If you don't feel this way, you shouldn't be there in
the first place. Before you go on, think of every person or ideology that
you have disliked all your life and tell yourself "Grr I am going to KICK
SOME BUTT AND CHANGE THE WORLD"!!
2) Attire
Dress Appropriately. Spend a lot a time on attention to detail. Bring
alternate clothes, shoes and accessories to keep in close proximity, you
may get the chance to alter your attire as you get closer to your audition
and learn more details!
3) Clarity
Be clear about what you want to achieve, focus on your immediate goal of
performing and representing yourself
4) Professionalism
Take and maintain a professional attitude at all times! Assume someone is
watching you the entire time, even if you are alone! Keep it professional
with other talents auditioning as well.
5) Judgment
Should you do something dramatic, like wear a cat suit. Use your judgment.
Common sense says not to be silly, but if you really feel something in
your heart don't let the opportunity pass you by.
6) Priority
Don't be nonchalant. Act as if this audition means everything in the world
to you, but let them know you act that way at every audition! They will
know someone is going to grab you up.
7) Confidence
When you act as if this is the most important thing in the world, and you
know someone will grab you up, ...someone WILL grab you up! So remain
confident.
8) Courtesy
Remain confident, but be contrite, humble, polite, professional, and non
assuming. Treat everyone with due respect.
9) Physical Preparation
Stay fit always, but be prepared for your audition with extra energy
...Adjust your diet / sleep so you are at your peak for the audition.
Keep your body free of drugs and toxins so you can think clearly!

Resilience
Don't let them see you frown. If you get shut out, keep a stiff upper
lip, let them see how resilient you are, it may help in the next audition,
never give up!
